About the event

This workshop will explore the deep connection between the vagus nerve and the practices of Kundalini Yoga. The vagus nerve is one of the body’s most important pathways for regulating the nervous system. It influences our breath, heart rate, digestion, and emotional state. When it is balanced and strong, we feel calmer, more grounded, and more resilient in the face of stress.

Through Kundalini Yoga we can gently stimulate and tone the vagus nerve using breathwork, mantra, movement, and meditation. These practices help shift the body out of fight-or-flight and into a state of rest, healing, and inner awareness.

In this class we will explore:

• Simple Kundalini kriyas to support nervous system regulation

• Breath techniques that activate the parasympathetic response

• Mantra and meditation to calm the mind and open the heart
